Meet your department
In the position as Chemical Engineer, you are the vital link between R&D and Operations, and work with implementing improvements on existing production lines as well as designing new production lines.
The team is characterized by a high level of professionalism and technical expertise, spanning engineering, technical, and operational disciplines. This position reports to the Senior Manager of Manufacturing Development, is part of a larger section called Projects, NPI & Manufacturing Technology, and is located in Brønshøj.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Lead implementation and ensure compliance with, e.g., IVDR regulation
Build expertise in the chemistry used for our Blood Gas Analyzers and take responsibility for the tasks related to chemical processes in our projects
Validate test methods and processes
Partner with cross-functional teams and internal stakeholders such as R&D, production, QA and RA
Troubleshoot and resolve process and measurement issues, offering technical support to operations
Learn and apply Lean methods
The essential requirements of the job include:
Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, or related field.
Min. 2 years of experience working in the field of production incl. working knowledge of laboratory processes
Min. 2 years of experience from a regulated industry, such as medical devices, with a good understanding of GMP, and validation requirements
Effective planning, coordination and communication skills
Professional working level in English and Danish
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Working and navigating in projects involving several functions and many stakeholders
Efficiently prioritize tasks and easily switch focus between multiple projects
