This role is a subject matter expert role and does not involve people management. The EHS Leader is responsible for Cytiva Switzerland site overall EHS activities. This position is located in Grens, Vaud, Switzerland and will be an onsite position. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.

What you will do:

• Act as EHS expert and leader of the Signy site

• Report to the Site leader

• Lead the EHS compliance of the Site
  - Swiss regulation surveillance to provide guidance to remain complaint
  - Audits Management on site

• Implement EHS Policy & Culture on site

• Responsible to build & drive the EHS roadmap

• Drive continuous improvement culture around safety & sustainability
  - Educate employees (samaritain, Fire training, Emergency drill)
  - Empower people about their EHS responsibilities (Perco)
  - At Gemba to evaluate opportunities for improvement & assess risks when changes

• Drive kaizen on safety & sustainability

• Responsible of the Site EHS budget

• Strong connection with EHS global from Cytiva
  - to understand global EHS strategy
  - to share to the site EHS global direction on yearly basis
  - to share knowledge & best practices with the EHS global team

Who you are:

• Action oriented mindset/hands on with appetite to go to Gemba

• With compliance experience with Swiss EHS regulation (SUVA)

• With Proven experience in EHS position in the industry

• With a Strong ability to manage by influence & interact with the different functions on site

• With Proven experience leading the change & leading by example

• Organized person with project management experience

• Fluent in French & English

It would be a plus if you also possess:

• Experience in Biomedical/Life Science

• SUVA certification/training
