The Manager, Picking Supervisor is part of the Supply Chain team located in Duncan, SC, and will be in an on-site role.

What you’ll do:

  • Supervise associates ensuring completion of all documentation (scorecards, paperwork, etc.), consistent voice of quality for the area – including proper handling of goods and coaching of others to ensure materials are handled with care so that quality parts can be produced, provide direction to Internal Logistics Team Leaders and verify that products are effectively moving through to each work group center.
  • Operate equipment and assist in material transactions – willing and able to learn all processes to ensure materials are handled correctly, safely, and with quality in mind.
  • Support daily operations in the Warehouse for critical daily management metrics for safety, prioritizing actions, teaching and complying with regulations and best practices, and enforcing required PPE, ensuring quality daily work, following GDP/GMP procedures, and overseeing compliance with the daily schedule.
  • Champion of lean/continuous improvement/Danaher Business System in all areas, participating in departmental and cross-functional Kaizen events.
  • Promote a learning environment that facilitates cross-training among associates, fostering a flexible and collaborative team capable of meeting site metrics.

Who you are:

  • 4-year Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of supervisory or leadership experience
  • 4+ years of work experience in manufacturing/operations is required
  • Experience in a warehouse environment and supply chain management
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office: Excel and Word, specifically. SAP or other ERP experience (specifically in a manufacturing environment)
  • Proven skills working with details related to quality, ensuring that products meet specifications, and the team is compliant with all policies and procedures, including Good Documentation Practice (GDP)

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Prior supervisory and coaching experience preferred
  • Manufacturing planning/scheduling, and lean manufacturing concepts
  • Continuous improvement and Lean Manufacturing
  • Working in a GMP manufacturing environment

The annual salary range for this role is $65,000 to $75,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
