The Field Application Specialist is responsible for providing excellent support to our customers thru variety of task such as product demonstrations, troubleshooting technical issues, training customers on product usage etc.

This position reports to the Team Manager and is part of the Hong Kong working remotely to cover the Hong Kong wider territory.

Applications Specialists work closely as a team with Sales staff to support customers before, during and after a sale. Responsibilities include providing applications support to existing customers, coordinating and performing product demonstrations for prospective customers, developing new applications through collaborations (industrial or academic), troubleshooting technical problems, and training customers in the use of our products.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Integrate instruments (including installation), assays and connectivity solutions into customer laboratories and provide support to the customer during the evaluation and implementation

  • Provide demonstration of instrumentation, software and reagents to current and potential customers.

  • Jointly develop account strategies with Sales Representatives aimed at increasing business and retaining current business.

  • Conduct technical seminars and presentations at customer sites, trade shows and workshops to drive thought leader adoption

  • Ensure install and customer management database is updated with full activity traceability & active involvement in pre-sales activities to support business development & adhere to = normal standard of work for documentation and customer complaint handling

Essential requirements:

  • At least a Master’s Degree in biotechnology, immunology, Life science, biological science, Medical Technology or related scientific field experience

  • At least 2 years relevant working experience with experience field of immunology, genomic and Cell biology

  • Experience in the field of Flow Cytometry, automation

  • Proficient in multitasking and problem-solving, adapting quickly to fast-paced, dynamic environments.

  • Proficient is written and spoken English with proficient MS Office skills

It's a plus if you have this:

  • Experience in the field of cell therapy or biopharma is a plus.
