IT-OT Project Manager

The IT-OT Project Manager is responsible for leading cross-functional team members that integrate Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT) systems. This role ensures seamless collaboration between enterprise IT infrastructure and industrial control systems to drive digital transformation, improve operational efficiency, and enhance cybersecurity. You'll work with a dynamic team to integrate and advance state-of-the-art manufacturing systems and automation, ensuring Cytiva remains at the forefront of the industry. By working effectively as a team manager and core team player in a program environment, you will maintain positive relationships with core team members and clients working, as well as IT-OT SMEs in pitching site. What you will do:

• Lead end-to-end IT-OT integration projects, from planning through execution and delivery.
• Define project scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements.
• Collaborate with IT, OT, engineering, operations, and cybersecurity teams.
• Communicate project status, risks, and milestones to program management and stakeholders.
• Ensure alignment between IT systems (e.g., ERP, MES, cloud platforms) and OT systems (e.g., SCADA, PLCs, DCS).
• Oversee data integration, network architecture, and system interoperability.
• Integrate automation systems with digital applications, ensuring seamless connectivity between production, quality control, and data management.
• Support cybersecurity initiatives across IT and OT environments.
• Ensure projects comply with industry standards (e.g., ISA-95, IEC 62443) and company policies.
• Maintain documentation and audit trails for regulatory and operational purposes.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation.
• Promote best practices in IT-OT convergence and digital innovation.

Who you are:

• Experience: Proven track record in managing complex manufacturing systems involving automation, robotics, and advanced technologies, in Bioprocess/Biopharma/Medical devices’ industry.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Process Control Systems, SCADA, PLCs, and other automation technologies, with the ability to design and implement robust system integration architectures.
• Education: A degree in Engineering, Automation, Computer Science, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field.
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, effective communication with stakeholders, and leadership and collaboration abilities with cross-functional teams.
• Languages: Proficiency in English is essential; additional language skills are a plus.

• Experience in manufacturing, energy, utilities, or similar industrial sectors.
• Hands-on experience with MES, SCADA, PLCs, and cloud-based platforms.
• Knowledge of digital transformation initiatives such as Industry 4.0 or Smart Factory.
• Previous experience in Bioprocess/Biopharma/Medical devices’ industry.
• Willingness to travel internationally and domestically up to 60% of the time.
