The Executive Assistant is responsible for providing high-level administrative support to executive leaders, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations and optimal efficiency. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
This position will support the Vice President and Chief Quality Assurance Officer for the Corporate Quality function and the Vice President and Chief Counsel for the Labor and Employment function. This role can be performed remotely within the United States, with the eastern or central time zone preferred, or located onsite in Washington DC.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Manage complex schedules, coordinate meetings, and arrange travel itineraries for corporate executives and their teams.
Plan and coordinate functional conferences, meetings and Danaher Business System (DBS) events, including some that are global.
Ensure all event details are effectively planned, executed and within budget.
Serve as the primary contact to confidentially and discreetly handle sensitive communications with further assistance to prepare/edit documents for assigned leaders and teams.
Oversee functional operations including managing complex domestic/international travel, expense reporting, and special projects as needed.
Oversee and manage legal invoices for the Labor and Employment function using the Legal Tracker technology platform.
Support with documents creation/revisions using the Microsoft Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.) and other technology applications.
The essential requirements of the job include:
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, or a related discipline preferred.
Minimum 3-5 years of Executive Assistant experience in a corporate setting for senior level executives, preferably in a global corporate environment.
Polished and professional communication style, both oral and written, including impeccable accuracy in formatting.
Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint software, along with financial software such as Legal Tracker, TimberScan.
Demonstrated time management and ability to effectively multitask, juggle shifting priorities, deliver quickly with excellent attention to detail and adapt to changing demands in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
5-10% travel domestically/internationally per business needs.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work on projects alone or in a group setting.
Ability to learn the team’s primary business objectives, and through this understanding, anticipate administrative needs.
Ability to partner with other administrative professionals to manage competing needs and schedules.

The hourly range for this role is $45.00 – $53.00 per hour. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
