The Production Supervisor for evening shifts is responsible for implementing the production plan, at a safe, efficient, and productive level. Duties focus on supervising associates during day-to-day tasks and managing the overall workflow of the assigned value stream and shift.
This position reports to the Value Stream Leader, is part of the Fast Turn Blocks and Clonal Products Value Stream located in Coralville, IA, and work is performed on-site.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Responsible for oversight of direct reports including hiring, training, personal development regarding P4G, reviews, performance management, career discussions, engagement, and discipline.
Lead, coach, and demonstrate behaviors consistent with IDT and Danaher Core Behaviors.
Act as a liaison for communication between associates and other value streams, including external/customer interface as needed.
Ensure successful planning of all resources on shift including approval and tracking of time off requests and timecards to ensure a successful planning of labor resources as well as working with scheduler to establish daily priorities.
Facilitate Operations Leadership bases, (Accident Free, Guaranteed Quality, Compliance Culture, Team Mindset) and to build collaborative partnerships within and across value stream(s).
The essential requirements of the job include:
Minimum bachelor’s degree in science related field or equivalent by relevant experience of at least 5+ years.
Previous leadership experience.
Experience in application of lean tools such as 5S, Standard Work, Visual/Daily Management, Problem Solving.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
