FUNCTION: This position will assume the following responsibilities:

Sales Duties: Develops BC product business in regional market of Independent Commercial Laboratories, Health Check Centers, Laboratory Management services provider, Chinese Blood Bank market. In charge of sales channel strategy and promotion event, distributors system and cooperate with area manager on sales plan to achieve the target.

BASIC PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION:

This will include participating in the establishment of the sales and financial goals for a given territory; designing and implementing sales plans to achieve established goals; and cooperating with marketing to obtain market data and monitor competitors’ activities. This position will also be responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication, report writing and technical knowledge, coach and motivating the marketing team towards achieving the company’s goals.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The incumbent will also be responsible for, but not limited to the following duties:

  • Establishes goals to meet short term sales objectives including instrument and reagent.
  • Develop a regional sales plan to grow our market share in this market segments.
  • Manage the product supply, price, installation between regional sales, HAI/BHK national team and local partners.
  • Plans and organizes resources for all marketing strategies with line manager to ensure that they are being effectively carried out.
  • Implementing on-going marketing programs and projects and initiate innovative enhancements.
  • Conducts market and product opportunity assessment, and provides pursuit support for strategic new business opportunities
  • Organize and manage the customer project progressing and reporting on regional level.
  • Manages relationships with vendors, consultants, contractors, and professional associations to keep informed with existing and evolving industry standards and technologies
  • Conducts market and product opportunity assessment, and provides pursuit support for strategic new business opportunities
  • Work with line manager to develop new distributor to extend channel and regional sales partnership.

WORKING RELATIONSHIPS AND CONTACTS:

  • External contacts for this position include product supplier, vendor, hospital, distributors.
  • Internal contacts include all sales department staff members as well as other related department staff in other offices of the company to gain information or to resolve problems.

SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND GIVEN:

The incumbent of this position is responsible for his/her own work. Only new work is reviewed before issue, all other work is handled independently, reporting status to managers/supervisor. Some work requires analysis and use of initiative and independent judgment, but most assignments are specific and well defined.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION & SKILLS:

  • Bachelor degree or above in science, medicine/pathology or medical laboratory technology
  • Good at English reading, writing, speaking and listening
  • Good MS office computer skills (e.g.: excel; word; PPT)

WORKING EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum six years of related working experience with Clinical Medical or Medical background.
  • Being experienced in the business of diagnostic industry is preferred.
