The LATAM Planner is responsible for efficiently planning and coordinating the demand within multiple manufacturing plants across globe, to attend the LATAM region. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Supply Chain, Customer Service, BU Leaders, Production, and Logistics, to drive operational performance and support revenue through backlog management, shipment conversion, and inventory optimization.
This position reports to the LATAM ComOps Leader and is part of the LATAM ComOps Team located in Diadema, SP, Brazil and will be an on-site role (5-days/week).
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Collaborate with global plant planners and material managers to align production schedules and manage backlog using tools like the OSW Report and SAP (SD/MM).
Drive improvements in PGI date reliability and shipment conversion to support revenue recognition and customer satisfaction.
Lead commercial exception handling and expedite coordination with Customer Service and Supply Chain teams.
Analyze local inventory and develop strategies to optimize Quick Inventory Turns (QIT) and reduce excess stock.
Monitor key KPIs such as On-Time Delivery (OTD), forecast accuracy, and inventory turnover, and implement process improvements across LATAM.
The essential requirements of the job include:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related field.
Multiple years of experience in material planning within manufacturing environments.
Strong proficiency in data analysis tools, especially OSW Report, for backlog tracking, KPI monitoring, and production alignment.
Hands-on experience with SAP ERP, particularly SD and MM modules, for planning, inventory control, and order tracking.
Proficiency in Portuguese (fluent), English (intermediate to advanced), and Spanish (functional to intermediate).
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Working in multinational environments with cross-functional teams (specially for different countries within LATAM).
Postgraduate studies or MBA in Supply Chain, Operations, or related fields.
