About the Role:
The Production Planner at Radiometer plays a key role in ensuring the availability of raw materials, components, and packaging to support production and service operations.
This role is primarily focused on material planning and inventory control, with additional responsibilities in production scheduling and cross-functional collaboration.
You will work in a dynamic environment using planning, LEAN, and continuous improvement tools in a complex, low-volume production setup with many ingoing items and a large supplier base. The challenge is to keep production running smoothly while maintaining low inventory levels.
In this position, you are part of a small production support team, to thrive you’ll need to be both a team player and have a high degree of independence and autonomy, as you will be central for the success of the department’s deliveries. This requires close collaboration with stakeholders across the organization.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Plan and prioritize material supply to support production
- Maintain and audit Kanban cards and manage unprocessed ones
- Provide supplier forecasts and follow up on shortages
- Coordinate with production cells, DC in Poland, and internal departments both in DK and Poland.
- Support goods receiving, manage quarantine stock, and handle return orders
- Optimize inventory levels and participate in stock counts
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, logistics, supply chain or equivalent
- Experience from production/operations is an advantage
- A desire to work with LEAN
- Excellent communication skills and speaks and writes fluent Danish and English
- Thrive in a high-pace environment
