System Administrator - Production Planning and Control (12 month FTC)

As System Administrator - Production Planning and Control for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for the creation of CS/CA, IA and BV schedules, the creation and issuance of work orders, and control of materials, working closely with the supervisor and team to do so.
This is a temporary opportunity and is part of the Production Operations team located in Lismeenhan, O'Callaghan's Mills, Co. Clare, and will be based onsite.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Issue Work Orders and associated documentation
- Book materials
- IQ of finished good batches
- Support generation of schedules
- Support the implementation of Continuous Improvements within the department
- Generate and control the cycle counting process and inventory control
- Provide audit support
- Provide training support in MRP systems
The essential requirements of this role include:
- Leaving cert or equivalent
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Knowledge of Oracle or an MRP system
- Good knowledge of computer systems
- Communication with cross-functional teams
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
- Can manage change effectively
