The portfolio management student assistant at Radiometer is responsible for supporting the portfolio manager and PMO team with improvements of project portfolio management tools, their roll-out, and maintenance. In addition, the student assistant will be supporting the PMO team with administrative tasks.

This position is part of the Project Management Office in the Acute Care Diagnostics located in Copenhagen, Denmark and will be on-site. At Radiometer, our vision is to improve global healthcare with reliable, fast, and easy patient diagnoses.

You will be a part of Project Portfolio Management and report to the Portfolio Manager in Acute Care Diagnostics responsible for maintaining and improving our global resource and project portfolio management. You will work with project managers, technology experts, product managers, and clinical and regulatory affairs specialists on a regular basis. In the role of student assistant in our global portfolio management, you will:

  • Improve global portfolio management in a collaborative, cross-functional team.

  • Develop a strong understanding for and manage project resourcing and prioritization processes in a global leader in diagnostics.

  • Follow up on project execution, resource availability, and stakeholder alignment to help accelerate project completion.

  • Develop, implement, and maintain new tools for resource and project portfolio management.

  • Coordinate internal communications and administrative tasks for resource allocation, including drafting emails, scheduling meetings, and following up with stakeholders.

  • Maintain and update spreadsheets related to resource allocation and project tracking with accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Schedule meetings, prepare agendas, and ensure tools and materials are ready to support smooth team operations.

  • Perform ad-hoc tasks to support the team’s strategic and operational goals.

To thrive and succeed in the job, you fulfill the following:

  • Enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master’s degree (1st year) in a relevant field (engineering, marketing, IT, project management, business administration, or a related field).

  • Very structured approach to handling parallel tasks.

  • Pro-active and able to prioritise when given diverse tasks.

  • Interest in healthcare, diagnostics or medical technologies.

  • Technology savviness and proficiency in MS office suite.

  • Structured approach to solving challenges independently and in teams.

  • Strong ability to communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams from all parts of the business.

  • Good prioritization and time management skills.

  • Willingness and pro-activeness in taking on new tasks to support the team.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in or understanding for:

  • Project or project portfolio management, or related activities.

  • Medical device technology and design control.

  • Software solutions for project and resource planning and data management.
