As a Logistics Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our inventory management and shipping/receiving processes. Your responsibilities will encompass the following areas:
Component Labeling and Kit Assembly:
Print and apply accurate labels to manufactured components, ensuring proper identification.
Assemble completed components into finished goods, meticulously maintaining inventory records.
Shipping/Receiving:
Identify and receive incoming materials, verifying their accuracy and condition.
Handle goods with care to preserve product integrity during the shipping/receiving process.
Pack and ship intermediate and finished goods for both domestic and international shipments.
Other:
Prioritize safety by maintaining a secure and healthy workplace environment.
Adhere to global health and quality standards to uphold product excellence.
Offer support across various functions by performing additional duties as required.
Conduct cycle counts of inventoried materials, including raw materials, consumables, and finished goods.
Utilize Oracle MRP and SCALE WMS databases to identify and locate materials efficiently.
Provide invaluable assistance to the site by conducting inventory assessments as needed. These assessments include inventory spot checks, digital and physical transaction requests, warehouse transfers, issuance requests, and digital scrap requests.
Please note this is a 3-month contract position.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for this position should possess a High School Diploma or GED. Physical capabilities include the ability to lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs and the capacity to engage in prolonged periods of both standing and sitting. Proficiency in computer skills is essential, particularly in utilizing the Microsoft Office Suite. An in-depth understanding of both domestic and international shipping procedures, including customs documentation and specific shipping systems such as FedEx, UPS, and DHL, is crucial.
Previous experience in cycle counting and inventory management is preferred, along with familiarity with Oracle or other ERP systems. Superior multitasking abilities are highly valued, as is the capacity to communicate confidently and effectively across departments, with both managers and peers. Meeting deadlines is a key requirement for this role.
