HemoCue is a leading provider of point-of-care diagnostic solutions, enabling healthcare practitioners across clinical settings and geographies to improve patient outcomes and clinical workflows. For more than four decades we’ve been advancing what’s possible at the point of care. HemoCue offers point-of-care testing for hemoglobin, glucose and HbA1c as well as total and differential white blood cell count.
The Sr Director Global Marketing for HemoCue is responsible for leading the global marketing organization, driving the work developing and executing the company’s short- and long-term strategy. You will lead the marketing team to develop and deliver impactful initiatives to accelerate the profitable growth of our current portfolio and ensure the successful launch of new products.
This position is part of HemoCue leadership team and report to the President of HemoCue, the position can be based anywhere in Europe. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Build, empower and mentor a high-performing global marketing team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
- Accelerate profitable growth of the current portfolio through global commercial initiatives, including digital strategies, by leveraging data-driven insights and market intelligence to optimize marketing initiatives and drive measurable business outcomes.
- Contribute to defining and executing the overall HemoCue strategy by developing and implementing both short- and long-term plans
- Ensure successful development and launch of new products
- Establish and oversee global marketing processes to effectively drive business performance
- Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, Sales, Finance, and Operations to ensure marketing strategies are aligned with overall business objectives
- Champion customer-centricity by actively incorporating the voice of the customer into marketing strategies and fostering strong stakeholder relationships across the organization.
The essential requirements of the job include:
- MBA or other Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, Economics or equivalent
- 10+ years of global marketing leadership experience
- 5+ years of experience in the medical device, healthcare, or Life Science industry
- Demonstrated development and implementation of strategic, tactical, and operational plans leading the team to achieve defined goals
- Experience leading data-driven and digital marketing initiatives to drive measurable business outcomes
