The IT Analyst, Infrastructure China, is responsible for supporting the Cytiva business functions infrastructure. Enhancing customer satisfaction and support by addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues, and any IT services that are essential to our business operations. You will be part of our China Infrastructure Client Technologies team, contributing to projects and providing hands-on IT support to ensure efficient service delivery and optimal customer experience.
This position reports to the Sr. Manager, IT Infrastructure Cytiva China and is located in Cytiva Shanghai and will be an on-site role.
What you will do:
Technical Support
- Responsible for daily operational and support activities, including the setup of laptops/desktops, resolving hardware, software, network, and printing issues, providing assistance during company events, etc.
- Serve as the primary onsite IT contact for infrastructure-related issues at Shanghai CTC campus.
- Providing support for manufacturing and warehouse operation when needed, with the highest priority.
Incident & Ticket Management
- Monitor IT ticket queues and resolve infrastructure incidents and service requests, these can come in form of incoming phone calls, walk-up or web-submitted IT tickets.
- Document issues and resolutions to contribute to the knowledge base.
Infrastructure Maintenance
- Maintain IT Server/MDF/IDF rooms.
- Support local infrastructure components including servers, network devices, and voice systems.
- Monitor IT system performance and ensure uptime meets SLA targets.
- Assist in OS patching, hardware upgrades, and IT maintenance activities.
Compliance & Governance
- Ensure adherence to China’s data security laws and internal IT policies and standard.
- Support audit and compliance activities including SOX/SOC controls.
Who you are:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or IT-related discipline.
- 3 years or more working experience in regional operations support and warehouse environment role. Experience of support Biopharming Research and Development environment role is an advantage.
- Experience installing, configuring, troubleshooting and supporting Windows OS and applications and Active Directory management.
- Good written and spoken communication skills, including ability to produce user guides, diagrams and flowchart.
- Ability to manage multiple support requests simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and allocating resources effectively to meet deadlines and objectives.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- CCNA or ITIL certification is an advantage
- Experience working in a regulated or multinational and diverse environment, with strong interpersonal skills to manage and collaborate with teams across different cultural backgrounds and business practices.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to write simple scripts for automation (eg PowerShell, DOS script, etc.)
