The Contract Administration Supervisor will lead and oversee the execution of our contractual obligations and the management of our customer accounts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient contract administration, fostering strong relationships with Customers and Sales, and driving business growth through effective management of contracts. Additionally, the Contract Administration Supervisor will lead and develop a team of Contract Specialists.
This position reports to the Contract Administration Senior Manager and is part of the Client Services team located in Brea, CA and will be an on-site role.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Understand and recommend standard work in managing complex business issues to leadership. This could include customer issues as well as personnel issues.
- Project manage various initiatives at process improvement using DBS tools and principles, including building out project action plans and timelines, and cross-collaborating with other functions.
- Support negotiations of claims, manage contractual changes and resolve disputes or conflict resolutions with customers.
- Coordinate efforts within the team to roll out internal programs and organizational initiatives and report updates verbally and in written form to management.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders (finance, sales, service, contract development) to ensure alignment on contract terms and conditions.
- Support data collection and management procedures to maintain Daily Management and meet KPI targets.
- Manage hiring, training, performance management, and succession planning to ensure sustained team capability and growth.
The essential requirements of the job include
- Bachelor's Degree in related field with 3 years' experience OR High school diploma with 8+ years of previous related work experience in contract administration/management or operations, or equivalent experience based on Beckman Coulter criteria
- 2+ years’ team leadership experience; demonstrating past success in building highly performing teams with a focus on people development / process improvement
- Experience with contracting principals
- Proven expertise in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint
- Ability to work in a team environment, including inter-departmental teams and representing the organization on specific projects
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- DBS, or lean six sigma experience
- Master’s Degree

The annual salary range for this role is $95,000 - $115,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
