Key Responsibilities

  • Website Management
    • Oversee the performance, content, and functionality of the Abcam China website.
    • Collaborate with global teams to ensure localization and alignment with brand guidelines.
    • Monitor user experience and implement improvements to drive engagement and conversions.
  • SEO (Search Engine Optimization)
    • Develop and execute SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings and traffic.
    • Conduct keyword research, on-page optimization, and technical SEO audits.
    • Track and report SEO performance metrics and continuously optimize content.
  • SEM (Search Engine Marketing)
    • Plan and manage paid search campaigns (Baidu, Bing, etc.) to maximize ROI.
    • Monitor budgets, bids, and performance metrics to ensure efficiency.
    • Analyze campaign data and provide actionable insights for improvement.
  • Social Media Management
    • Manage and grow Abcam China’s presence on platforms such as WeChat, RedNote, Douyin, and others.
    • Develop and execute social media campaigns to drive engagement and brand awareness.
    • Monitor performance metrics and optimize content for audience growth and interaction.
  • GEO (Generative Engine Optimization)
    • Develop strategies to optimize content for AI-driven search engines and generative platforms.
    • Collaborate with global teams to implement GEO best practices across digital assets.
    • Monitor emerging trends in generative AI search and adapt strategies accordingly.
  • Analytics & Reporting
    • Use tools like Google Analytics and other platforms to measure website and campaign performance.
    • Provide regular reports and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration
    • Work closely with global digital marketing, product, and sales teams to align digital strategies.
    • Support integrated marketing campaigns and ensure consistent messaging across channels.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, life sciences, biology, or related field.
  • At least 8-10 years of experience in digital marketing, with a focus on website management, SEO, SEM, social media, and emerging search technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of Baidu Ads, Bing Ads, SEO best practices, and familiarity with GEO concepts.
  • Proficient in analytics tools (Google Analytics, Baidu Tongji, etc.).
  • Excellent project management and communication skills.
  • Fluent in Mandarin and English.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in life sciences or biotech industry.
  • Understanding of generative AI and its impact on search optimization.
  • Strong analytical mindset and data-driven decision-making.
