The Field Service Engineer is responsible for conducting predictive and non-predictive maintenance service, repair and/or installation of products or IT solutions at customer site, including electrical and mechanical testing, in accordance with maintenance contracts. Escalates complex issues to greater level of technical support or quality reporting system. Responding to customer support calls within the UAE.

This position reports to the Senior Service Engineer & Team Lead and is part of the Technical Service located in Dubai working remotely to cover the Middle East region.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Prove your technical ability to troubleshoot and repair complex instrumentation.

  • Execute all service processes in line with the warranty and service policy.

  • Assist the service team in maintaining any relevant KPIs.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • 2 years of industry experience in service, technical support, or maintenance within the Medical Equipment/Medical Instruments space, with a strong understanding of mechanical, electronic, and electrical components.

  • Tertiary qualifications in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Biomedical Engineering.

  • Hands-on attitude and communication skills, with ability to work independently and self-motivated.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

  • Ability to travel - 40% travel, overnight, within the region

  • Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record

  • Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 60lbs

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Have experience in servicing Radiometer instruments.

  • An electrical or restricted license would be an advantage.
