The Finance Manager for Leica Biosystems is responsible for FP&A and working with LMS Shared Services to ensure proper Internal Controls, Accounting, Tax, Code of Conduct Policy and Compliance. Ensuring compliance to local law and regulations, FCPA requirements and Danaher policies.

Location: This position is part of the APAC Finance Team located in Mount Waverley, Melbourne, and will be on-site. At Leica Biosystems, our vision is to advance cancer diagnostics and improve lives. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Business Partnering - Provide strong commercial/financial decision support to SEA and HKTW SU team and ensure financial discipline in business decisions and overall responsibility for FP&A, and work with Leica Microsystems (LMS) Shared services to deliver set objectives in Internal Controls, Tax, Accounting and GL and working with Leica Microsystems

• Formulate Service Level Agreement with Leica Microsystems and drive fulfilment of service level by Leica Microsystems Shared Service

• Lead financial analyses, forecasting and planning and streamline monthly, quarterly and yearly process to ensure accurate P/L reporting and forecasting and Drive adoption of standardized reporting, analytics and data management

• Coordination and lead the following financial business process for the SEA & HKTW SU - Annual business plan/forecasting; financial reporting, strategic planning, quarterly updates and latest thinking, Monthly Flash & Sales Forecast & Mid-month Reviews, Weekly Sales Forecast calls, Funnel Management etc

• Lead the monthly closing activities (coordinate with Leica Microsystems Shared Service for financial accounting), such as gather inputs, perform data analytics, prepare the management review deck (including powerpoint decks)

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Minimum Bachelor degree / ACCA (minimum 5 years of experience) with CPA, within the healthcare, medical devices, diagnostics, or pharmaceutical industries.

• Excellent Leadership & Interpersonal Skills

• Strong in Internal Controls and able to build Standard Works and process re-engineering

• Strong in Business Partnering & financial planning and analysis (for Commercial Operations)

• Experience in managing and coordination with Shared Service Center (including understanding of Compliance, Tax, Audit and Financial Accounting)
