As an Electrochemist, Sensors at Radiometer, you will play a key role in developing and sustaining innovative electrochemical sensors for our blood gas platforms.

You will a be part of our diverse Electrochemistry, Optics, and Mechanics team, based in Brønshøj, Copenhagen. This is an on-site position where you will collaborate with talented colleagues who share your commitment to reliable, fast, and easy patient diagnoses.

Additionally, you will work closely with the Director responsible for quality, sustainment, and development of our sensor technologies. We value different perspectives and encourage continuous learning, creativity, and teamwork.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Work with tasks related to the quality and delivery of electrochemical sensors including continuous improvement and managing obsolescence projects

  • Proactively identify opportunities to enhance sensor performance and implement impactful quality improvements.

  • Develop electrochemical sensors

  • Collaborate closely with a team of highly skilled and experienced sensor team

  • Connect and engage with cross-functional teams across R&D and Operations, contributing to a dynamic and supportive work environment.

The essential requirements of the job include

  • Master of science in Chemical Engineering, cand. scient. Chemistry, PhD or similar

  • Knowledge within physical chemistry and electrochemistry

  • Experience in working with electrochemical problems

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Sensor systems involving electrochemical sensors

  • Data analysis

  • Polymer chemistry
