As Project Manager, NPI & Portfolio Management, you will be a part of the NPI & Portfolio Management team and report to the Senior Manager of NPI & Portfolio Management, responsible for introducing new products and optimizing existing production processes at our Danish production facilities.
You will be responsible for running small and large projects within operations, driving the project from the early idea and scoping phase, right to the end where the project is implemented and sustained.
Your main tasks will be to run projects that support:
Development and introduction of new products and processes
Product maintenance and optimization of existing production
Implementation of new business systems (e.g., software and procedures)
Quality improvements
Kaizen events and problem-solving processes
You will work cross-functionally between Operations, R&D, QA and Global Supply Chain, within the medical device business. The cross-functional projects expose you to many peers in the organization and enable you to build relations with other passionate and dedicated professionals.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Drive various projects within operations, right from idea to implementation
Define project scope and objectives, based on input from stakeholders
Develop realistic project schedules, resource planning, budget, deliverables, and risk management
Lead cross-functional and technical teams to execute on your project
Deliver projects on time and within budget
Drive transparency through Visual Project Management and other LEAN tools
Qualification:
We believe that the following formal qualifications will improve your chances of success in the job:
Experienced Project Manager (5+ years) preferably within medical device business or another regulated industry
Education as engineer (min. B.Sc.) or similar
High personal drive, structured, persistent and able to prioritize the most important focus areas
Able to establish and maintain close working relationships with management, colleagues, team members, internal and external stakeholders
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Fluent in English and Danish
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Validation of processes and equipment
Software programming, automation, and manufacturing optimization
