In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Provide legal advice to Finance, HR, Sourcing, GA, and other functional teams on matters related to procurement, contracts, labor & employment, privacy, and interactions with HCPs.
• Review and negotiate contracts, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support the team in resolving issues and mitigating risks.
• Coordinate with associates across platforms and operating companies to implement Legal & Compliance initiatives and priorities.
• Assist in developing and implementing policies and procedures related to localization processes and other Danaher China strategies.
• Develop and deliver training to enhance internal clients’ knowledge of legal and compliance topics.
• Manage claims, disputes, mediations, litigation, and arbitrations as assigned.
• Support the General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer with significant projects and matters in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with global Legal & Compliance colleagues to provide efficient, effective legal support.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Laws degree or equivalent; PRC or foreign bar membership preferred.
• LLM or JD degree from abroad is an asset.
• Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience.
• Experience in a reputable law firm required; in-house counsel experience at a global healthcare company preferred.
• Strong background in contract drafting, negotiation, and use of contract management policies and tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable interacting with business leaders.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams to achieve objectives.
• Fluency in Chinese and English, both written and spoken.
