Positioned within the Kraków technology delivery centre, this role is an exciting opportunity to join a growing engineering and operations team dedicated to defending Danaher’s businesses. You’ll engage in deploying leading security technologies, responding to threats in real time, and shaping the future of our cybersecurity posture.
The Senior Cybersecurity Engineer at Danaher will be responsible for deploying, managing, and maintaining security tools, ensuring they meet evolving business and security requirements. This role will also focus on developing, monitoring, and improving key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure effectiveness and drive continuous improvement across the security program.
This position is within the Danaher Corporate Information Security team, reporting to Manager of Engineering and Ops. This is a Danaher Corporate role, hosted by our Cytiva operating company in Krakow.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Design, implement, and manage Microsoft Intune Conditional Access policies to ensure secure and compliant access to company resources
- Deploy and maintain Mobile Threat Defense (MTD) solutions integrated with Microsoft Intune to protect endpoints and mobile devices.
- Administer and optimize Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (MDE) to enhance threat detection, investigation, and response capabilities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop security baselines and device compliance policies using Microsoft security technologies.
- Monitor, analyze, and improve the effectiveness of conditional access and endpoint security controls across the organization.
- Develop, monitor, and refine key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and effectiveness of security initiatives, supporting continuous improvement across the security program.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and address security gaps, ensuring alignment with evolving business and security requirements.
The essential requirements of the job include:
- 5–7 years of progressive experience in software engineering with demonstrated expertise in architecting and designing high-performance distributed platforms.
- Advanced proficiency in Python, Go, and C++, including experience with performance optimization and low-level debugging.
- Strong architectural acumen, with comprehensive knowledge of cloud-native design, security best practices, and scalability patterns.
- High level of Knowledge on SaaS platforms and MSSP Concept platforms
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune, Conditional Access, MTD integrations, and Microsoft Defender for Endpoint.
Preferred skills and experience:
- Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst Associate (SC-200), Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate (SC-300), or Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate (MD-102).
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills within Microsoft security ecosystems.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively across teams.
