Product Marketing Manager (CCIA), HGM is responsible for achievement of sales targets and drives continuous growth by establishing and executing strong marketing strategies for the CCIA product business. The scope of responsibility extends across the Asia Pacific Region (APAC), and Japan.
This position reports to the Marketing Director, High Growth Markets (HGM) and is part of the HGM Marketing leadership team located in Malaysia / Thailand / India and will be an on-site role. You will driving the growth of the CCIA product portfolio by working closely with sales associates and clients across the APAC Region.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Marketing Strategy & Alignment: Design and execute APAC marketing plans for Clinical Chemistry and Immunoassay, aligned with global BU/product marketing strategies and corporate processes (e.g., MAPSS).
- Business Growth & Performance Management: Manage budgets; track sales, market share, and ASP performance; implement pricing, promotions, targeting, and segmentation to meet commercial targets.
- Product Launches & Lifecycle Management: Lead launches (instruments, assays, software) and drive continuous improvement through product feedback and enhancement recommendations.
- Market Intelligence & Competitive Enablement: Conduct market research, VoC, and competitive analysis; identify opportunities; develop sales enablement tools to counter competitor activity.
- Customer & Key Expert Engagement and Cross-Functional Collaboration and Issue Resolution: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and Key Experts through CMEs, hospital-based programs, product evaluations, publications support, and roundtable discussions; Work closely with sales, applications, service, and global teams to align strategies, serve as escalation point for the Immunoassay and Clinical Chemistry product lines, assist and support in the regulatory approvals process.
- Training & Capability Building: Deliver structured product training to internal teams and external clients to elevate technical and commercial readiness.
- Business Analysis & Forecasting: Identify new business opportunities and develop business cases for prioritization. Review and analyze sales, unit, and ASP data to monitor achievements and uncover account/territory opportunities. Develop and update long-term, quarterly, and monthly forecasts. Provide scientific and clinical marketing support via CMEs, hospital programs, publications support, product evaluations, and expert roundtables.
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Experiences: 10–15 years total experience; more than 5 years in IVD sales/marketing. More than 3 years hands-on experience with Clinical Chemistry and/or Immunoassay (product management, applications, or sales).
- Education: M.Sc./B.Sc. in Life Sciences or related field; MBA preferred.
- Commercial Impact: Proven ability to meet or exceed annual revenue and market share targets (e.g., ≥100% revenue plan; ≥+1–2 pts market share YoY); Launched ≥2 major products in the past 5 years with documented post-launch adoption (e.g., hitting ≥80% of launch plan within 12 months).
- Market & Regional Experience: APAC regional responsibility across different geographic markets; Demonstrated ability to build country-level playbooks and adapt strategies to local regulatory and channel dynamics.
- Data & Forecasting Proficiency: Track record of building and maintaining monthly/quarterly/annual forecasts with ≤10% variance vs. actuals; Fluency in analyzing sales, units, and ASP to drive account/territory actions and pipeline prioritization.
- Stakeholder & KOL Engagement: Established relationships with Key Experts or strategic clinical customers, evidenced by joint programs (CMEs, HBP, evaluations, publications). Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration: Experience leading cross-functional initiatives (sales, applications, service, L&D, regulatory) to resolve critical product issues; People leader experience, with ability to spot, hire, motivate, retain and build diverse teams.
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
- Ability to travel: Estimated 30% of the time.
