The Process Improvement Specialist is responsible for driving process improvements to streamline execution within medical device development. This covers process analysis, change management including supporting cultural changes as well as updating the Quality Management System.
This position reports to the Associate director, Project Management Excellence and is part of the Project Management Office (PMO) located in Copenhagen and will be an on-site role.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Drive SELECTED process improvements within medical device development in collaboration with various functions in the organization.
Drive collaborations with cross-functional teams to ensure leveraging industry best practice as well as consistent quality across all processes.
Participate in process analysis to identify relevant areas for process improvements and apply improvement methodologies to ensure continuous process improvements.
Develop clear, concise and operational quality instructions that comply with industry standards (ISO 13485 and 21CFR part 820).
The essential requirements of the job include:
5+ years of experience with ISO13485 and 21CFR part 820 as well as hands-on experience.
Experience with medical device product development and manufacturing
Demonstrated experience with LEAN, development process analysis and optimization as well as improvement methodologies and implementation
Strong in writing Quality Instructions and familiar with Medical Device Quality Management Systems
Proactive approach and a structured and analytical mindset
Strong stakeholder management skills to enhance efficiency as well as impact
Master’s degree in engineering/science
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Using AI as a supplementary tool in process optimization
Driving x-functional activities
Stakeholder management across functions
