As Sr Manager, Global Operations Learning & Development, you will own the strategy and execution of an operations‑focused learning ecosystem for 2,000+ associates worldwide. You’ll establish global standards, modernize training, and build capabilities that deliver measurable performance improvement across Beckman Coulter’s operations footprint. Your work will implement people‑centric learning systems that elevate safety, quality, and engagement, enabling teams to perform at their best—consistently and at scale.
This position reports to the Senior Director, DBS Global Operations and is part of the Operations team located in Chaska, MN and will be a preferred on-site role, however, a remote role will be considered for highly qualified candidates.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Build and execute a strategy aligned to business goals (right‑first‑time production, operational excellence, compliance, skills‑based training); turn capability gaps into scalable programs with measurable outcomes.
Design and deploy technical, leadership, and compliance curricula; leverage modern tech (AI, microlearning, VR/AR) for immersive, personalized experiences.
Oversee flagship programs (onboarding, leadership development, technical academies, compliance) across regions with standards, localization, and consistent delivery.
Implement systems that ensure ongoing adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards; maintain audit readiness and traceability.
Partner with site/plant leaders to assess training needs, track status, and ensure sufficient reactive capacity across Operations.
Collaborate with senior leaders, HR, and functional heads to co‑create solutions; foster a culture of continuous growth, inclusion, purpose—driving engagement, retention, and internal mobility.
Establish robust metrics and dashboards to assess effectiveness, ROI, and business impact; continuously improve programs using data insights.
The selected candidate will possess the following:
Demonstrated ability to define and execute on a global learning and development strategy.
Deep expertise in instructional design and adult learning theory.
Experience in the development, scaling, and management of digital learning platforms.
Capability to develop measurable performance indicators and metrics which unambiguously demonstrate impact of the global L&D strategy.
Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing training management systems that deliver robust reactive capacity with proven impact on time-to-competency.
Familiarity with change management principles across a global, multi-cultural team.
The essential requirements of the job include:
Bachelor's degree with 14+ years of exp. OR Master's/Doctoral degree with 12+ years exp. AND 4+ years related experience managing people preferred.
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
Ability to travel up to 10-15%.
Ability to sit and/or stand for prolonged periods of time.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Experience working in a regulated environment (GxP, ISO, etc.).
Knowledge of AI/AR systems and implementation.
Technical Writing experience (SOP’s, MBR’s, WI’s etc.

The salary range for this role is $165,000 to $180,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
