The Senior Manager, Global Market Development (Clinical & Forensic) is responsible for owning the strategic global marketing and Market growth plan for Mass Spectrometry-based solutions within the Clinical and Forensic markets. While ensuring alignment with the commercial organization, to drive growth, fuel demand generation and improve win rate in the defined markets.

This role reports to the Senior Director, Global Market Development based at our global headquarters in Marlborough, Massachusetts. The position is on-site.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Lead and define the 1-5 year global market and marketing strategies for the Clinical and Forensic business and own the business outcomes
  • Lead identifying the requirements for customer workflows (HW, SW and reagents) and develop integrated campaigns, high value content and sales tools, both physical and digital, that deliver growth
  • Continuous analysis of the global market to identify key growth opportunities, market trends, competitive intelligence and global regulatory landscape.
  • Drive creation of value propositions and competitive differentiated positioning for key SCIEX products/workflows
  • Monitor business results to track key metrics within the market, and develop action plans and countermeasures to address shortfalls
  • Participate in the innovation pipeline activities as appropriate and conduct Customer Insight efforts (Voice of customer collection) when needed to ensure the needs of the market are well understood.
  • Identify strategic partnerships and opportunities which will grow the solutions portfolio for the market and create additional revenue streams for the business

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Clinical Diagnostics, or a related scientific discipline (advanced degree preferred).
  • Extensive experience within Clinical Diagnostics and/or Forensic markets, with a strong understanding of customer workflows, purchasing dynamics, and regulatory considerations.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute global market or marketing strategies that deliver measurable business growth.
  • Strong commercial experience within laboratory capital equipment, including product positioning, value proposition development, and demand generation.
  • Demonstrated experience driving new product development or innovation initiatives, partnering closely with R&D and cross-functional teams.

Travel

  • Ability to travel 25%

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Extensive leadership experience, including direct people management and/or leading high-impact, cross-functional global teams
  • Hands-on experience with Mass Spectrometry within a Clinical and/or Forensic setting

The annual salary range for this role is $140,000-$190,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
