Responsibilities:

Drive strategic growth initiatives:

  • Drive targeted Policy Deployment (PD) and growth oriented KPI improvement by leveraging DBS tools, mentoring skills, and change management processes.
  • Regularly participate and contribute to PD and Daily Management reviews.
  • Assist Management Board with deploying priority improvements (e.g., Organic Growth).
  • Provide strategic market intelligence to identify Danaher Opcos growth priorities and support with DBS.
  • Update Danaher Opcos market trending to facilitate strategic prioritization.
  • Take ownership of the strategic projects for localization and M&A, orchestrating complex projects, facilitating seamless collaboration between local and global teams and ensuring every initiative delivers significant impact in strict alignment with company objectives.

Enhance DBS growth culture:

  • Assist China and/or regional leadership in development of a DBS roadmap in growth processes (sales, marketing, and innovation).
  • Directly provide formal and informal DBS training and coaching.
  • Facilitate other DBS training sessions when needed.
  • Improve DBS training and facilitation skills by pursuing certification in DBS tools.
  • Ensure productive kaizen events (well planned, executed and sustained).
  • Promote and facilitate target associate development in various DBS tools.
  • Benchmark and incorporate best practices into DBS.
  • Build DBS sustainability in Danaher Opcos.
  • Build DBS culture and scale DBS competency to Danaher Opcos.

  • Ability to influence others: must be able to inform, convince, and persuade others to action using DBS to drive sustainable results

  • Specific technical competencies: must possess the technical skills necessary to be seen as credible in DHR by peers and managers. Requires foundation in marketing and sales competencies (see below for details).
  • Communication: must be able to effectively communicate in both written and verbal forms

Priorities & Focus Areas

  • By scalable events, implement, improve, and sustain foundational sales and Marketing effectiveness processes including funnel management and transformative marketing.
  • Identify and establish mentored operating companies and work with the commercial teams (sales and marketing) to install and drive good daily management and problem-solving processes to find root cause and address for driving/delivering growth plans.
  • Build up DBS growth culture and provide DBS Fundamentals training in DBSU China.
  • Identify best practices within region and share across operating companies. Create learning opportunities and engagement for operating companies to share and engage with each other in region.

Education/Experience:

  • 10+ years of business experience, including leadership roles in both sales and marketing. General management experience is strongly preferred
  • MBA preferred
  • Ability to accurately assess key business metrics and situations from a senior leader point of view
  • Ability to design, develop, and implement a DBS roadmap for an operating business
  • Superior communications skills
  • Excellent English Skills (written and spoken).
  • Superior training, consulting and influencing skills
  • Hands-on experience implementing DBS or process improvement/orientation in a leadership role
  • Good writing and administrative skills, including computer skills (word processing / graphics / spreadsheet / etc.)
  • Demonstrated proficiency in time and project management
