Inventory Control Analyst

Role Purpose
Own inventory accuracy, control, and governance across warehouse operations by ensuring strong system-to-physical alignment, disciplined counting routines, and compliant handling of adjustments and scrap. Enable reliable customer fulfillment through data-driven visibility, cross-functional coordination, and strong operational follow-through.
Key Responsibilities
Generate inventory and stock movement visibility using Oracle / OBI; translate reporting into actions that improve accuracy, availability, and flow.
Perform ABC/XYZ segmentation on stock-on-hand to define and continuously refine cycle count strategy (scope, frequency, and prioritization).
Prepare Last Movement / Aging views to identify slow- and non-moving inventory and select the right items/lots for cycle counting and spot checks.
Plan, schedule, and coordinate cycle counts, reconciliations, and spot audits with Inbound/Outbound Operations to ensure execution quality and minimal disruption.
Investigate and resolve inventory variances between physical and system records; drive root-cause identification and preventive actions with the operations team.
Prepare inventory control reports and secure required approvals for inventory adjustments, ensuring compliance, traceability, and audit readiness.
Maintain full governance of Scrap (allocation, approvals, system disposition, and physical handling), ensuring clean records and controlled execution.
Track scrap-related dispatches and coordinate vendor invoice retrieval, supporting accurate financial closure and documentation integrity.
