The Clinical Applications Product Manager is responsible for sustain and evolve this portfolio to remain relevant for both customers and the patients they treat. You will collaborate closely with internal cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Medical, Regulatory, Clinical and Quality Affairs, Commercial (Global marketing, Sales and clinical Sales Specialist,...) and Operations; and externally with Health care professional, scientist and business partners to ensure the solutions' revenue, profitability, compliance, competitiveness, and clinical relevance that "reveal the invisible".
This position reports to the Sr Director Portfolio Management Microsurgery and is part BU Medical, Product Management located in Leica Instruments (Singapore) Pte Ltd and will be an on-site role.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for clinical software solutions
- Support the development, launch, and sustainment clinical application (hardware & software)
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and prioritize customer needs, market trends, and regulatory requirements but also industry and scientific intelligence
- Work out business plans for new products (expected revenue, margin,…) and support and analyze launch and revenue growth of the portfolio (price, attachment rate,…)
- Follow our development process and own critical deliverables for new products as well as engage in improvement or quality and compliance for existing product
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Bachelors’ degree in Engineering, Computer Science or Life Sciences, with 5+ years experience as Product Manager in the above stated industry OR Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or Life Sciences, with 3+ years experience as Product Manager in the above stated industry.
- English speaking
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: if applicable for role
- Ability to travel globally (30%)
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- MBA
- Experience in the field of Microsurgery, Medical Digital Imaging, AR/VR, Integrated OR, software or Image Guided Surgery (IGS).
- One additional language
