The Senior Analyst Materials and Planning for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for managing inventories for all manufactured and purchased finished goods in warehouses throughout APAC regions.

You will be reporting to the Manager for Materials and Planning responsible for driving planning excellence while closely collaborating with our colleagues in Commercial and Supply Chain across the regions. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Retrieve ordering signals from MRP system and create internal requisitions to source finished goods from source warehouses.
- Manage supply of finished goods items at APAC warehouses and meet inventory targets & continuously review stocking policies to optimize inventory levels and minimize scrapping cost.
- Follow all existing standard procedures for purchasing item.
- Regularly review stock levels and take necessary action during periods of constrained supply to minimize stock-out situation.
- Work with commercial team to have marketing intelligence used for planning excellence.
- Maintain Planning parameters such as lead time, re-order point, Safety stock etc. Create planning report by using tools. (ex. Power BI, Power query etc.)
- Own KPI report and take pro-active actions to bridge the gap.
- Understand company’s strategy and work in accordance with the strategy.
- Lead continuous improvement activities.
- Use best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve planning and buying processes.
- Work independently with minimal guidance and acts as a mentor / resource for junior colleagues.
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain field with at least 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of Supply Chain Continuous Improvement Lean tools is desirable.
- Communication skills to collaborate cross-functionally with other stakeholders.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience including:
- Working in an MRP/MPS environment. Ability to use Oracle would be an advantage.
- Working at healthcare industry is a plus.
- Leading SCM related project is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are desirable.
- APICS Certification is desirable.
