Payroll

· Processing Payroll: Calculating and processing employee wages, deductions, bonuses, and reimbursements accurately and on time, typically on a monthly basis.

· Tax & Social Benefits Compliance: Ensuring compliance with payroll tax laws and regulations, including withholding, reporting, and depositing taxes, social insurance contributions, and housing provident fund contributions.

· Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate and confidential payroll records, including employee master data, pay rates, changes, and historical payroll information.

· Reporting: Generating various payroll reports for management, finance, and other departments, such as payroll summaries, gross-to-net reports, and ad-hoc reports as needed.

· Employee Support: Answering employee questions regarding pay, deductions, and benefits, and providing pay stubs or other requested payroll documentation.

Budgeting & Cost Analysis

· Work out annual staff cost budgeting and provide payroll-related cost analysis to support business decisions and HR strategy.

· Maintain monthly payroll forecast on business and HR strategy’s needs.

Compliance & Governance

· Compliance Updates: Staying updated on changes in payroll laws, regulations, and best practices.

· Audit Support: Assisting with internal and external payroll audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.

Process Optimization

· Process Improvement: Identifying opportunities for process improvements within payroll operations to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

· System Optimization: Assisting with the maintenance, upgrades, and optimization of payroll software and systems.

The essential requirements of the job include:

· This position requires 3 years or above related working experience, multinational company experience in preferred

· Bachelor’s degree of Human Resources, Management or related education background

· Excellent English skills in speaking, reading and writing

· Strong proficiency in payroll software (e.g., Workday, ADP, or local China payroll systems) is highly preferred

· Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting

· This position requires 3 years or above related working experience, multinational company experience in preferred

· Knowledge and working experience on compensation and benefits administration
