The Senior Manager, Fibrous materials, Custom & non-micro membranes for Cytiva is responsible to lead a portfolio of $130 M of Lab Filtration products that are used in applied markets and Life Sciences applications.

This position reports to the Vice President, Diagnostic & Genomics and Lab Filtration and is part of the Lab filtration business unit and will be based in Cardiff, UK. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.

What you will do:

  • Develop and execute strategic plans for the $130M Fibrous Materials, Custom & Membranes portfolio to drive long term growth and profitability.
  • Contribute to the overall strategic direction of the D&G and LF organization as a member of the leadership team.
  • Ensure portfolio performance delivers against CVS and KPIs, leading PSP problem-solving processes to identify root-causes and implementation of counter-measures, as required.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of direct reports, fostering a high-performance culture. Ensure clear communication of goals, expectations, and feedback to the team.
  • Contribute to delivery of the innovation pipeline through leadership at the Innovation Council and ownership of own portfolio deliverables. Ensure a clear flow of projects to meet IFV/IPV targets.
  • Lead larger portfolio-level projects that deliver impacts such as increasing efficiency and effectiveness of portfolio management, cost control, pricing strategies or to deliver supply chain optimization.
  • Utilize Danaher Business System (DBS) tools and methodologies to continually improve processes and drive operational excellence.

Who you are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Business, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA, PhD, etc.) preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in product management within the life sciences or applied markets.
  • Proven track record of managing global portfolios and achieving significant sales targets.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel globally as needed.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Experience with working with fibrous materials and membranes in a lab filtration context would be a plus
  • Experience leading direct or indirect reports
