POSITION TITLE: National Sales Director/ Senior Manager, Clinical Flow
REPORTS TO: General Manager, Beckman Coulter Life Sciences, China
FUNCTION: This position will assume the responsibility of defining clinical flow team to achieve sales and financial targets in accordance with the company’s strategic goals, and full responsible for P&L and business operation compliance.
BASIC PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION:
This position will include managing sales team and application team, participating in the establishment of the sales and financial strategic for clinical flow business and leading teams to achieve established goals, and cooperating with flow product marketing to win market share and monitor competitors’ activities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The incumbent will also be responsible for, but not limiting to the following duties:
- Define strategies and act to generate long term and short-term customer success and business results.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive business plan for clinical flow business, lead team to achieve clinical flow sales and other financial objectives.
- Grow sales in a systematic approach, and continuously develop, maintain, and improve the system by which client relationships are strengthened and the sales strategy is fulfilled effectively, engaging, identifying, motivating, and managing a well selected network of key customers to meet sales objectives.
- Plan and implement key account strategies to strengthen business relationships with major current and high potential customers.
- Monitor and investigate industry and economic trends, the Company's market position, competitive threats, and opportunities, recommend new and viable insight. Formulating strategies and recommendations for the development of customers and markets.
- Determine the budget and business resources needed to support the sales and maintain customer relationship. Provide update information on sales, sales forecasts, customer activity and visits, sales activity including progress on projects, target accounts, major and new opportunities, and any specific promotional or marketing activity.
- Act in a manner consistent with the scope and principles of all company policies, codes of conduct and core behaviors.
- Develop and manage different level of channel partners in a compliant way to achieve business goal according to company standards.
- Managing Activities of the Sales Organization – Provide leadership to insure the achievement of all customer sales revenue targets and profitability. Coordinate’s communication and activities between all sales locations and personnel toward accomplishing organizational goals. Clearly and quickly works through the complexity of key issues, problems, and opportunities to affect action.
- Build up effective sales organization, motivate and develop a professional sales force, continuously improve sales effectiveness.
- Attract, develop, and retain all levels of talent to ensure that people with the right skills and motivation to meet business needs are in the right place at the right time.
- Other Ad hoc roles and responsibilities as assigned by General Manager.

WORKING RELATIONSHIPS AND CONTACTS:
- External contacts for this position include dealers, customers, and the government.
- Internal contacts include all clinical flow members as well as other related department staff of the company to gain information or to resolve problems.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION & SKILLS:
- Bachelor degree or above degree in a related life-science discipline, major in Biochemistry, Bioengineering, Clinical and Molecular Biology is preferred.
- Good command in computer application with Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Good command in English (read, write, and speak)
WORKING EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 15 years of sales working experience with Clinical Medical or Medical background
- Over 5 years in a management role of leading a national team or a function
- Being experienced in the business of IVD industry is preferred

- Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels and proactively escalate issues to appropriate levels of management in the organization.
- Ability to work and excel within a fast paced, dynamic, and constantly changing work environment.
- Dedicated to quality and pro-active response to client needs.
- Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control.
- Can work under great pressure
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
This position may require business traveling in a frequently situation.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This position functions in a general office environment.
