The Account Manager is responsible for leading all aspects of sales for accounts in assigned territory and achieving sales targets. To develop new business in a structured manner based on target list for Specialty Chemical.

This position reports to the Sales Manager of the Account Sales Group, which is part of the Energy+ Division located in Shinjuku, Tokyo.

The primary work location for this position is Osaka , Japan. Occasional travel to other domestic or international locations may be required depending on business needs.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Set account strategy and lead cross-function teams to achieve the goal of new business engagements, execute on account strategy and support the related collaborations
  • Manage demand forecast, order and sales value by monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis
  • Strengthen customer relationships at all levels
  • Develop pricing strategy, and complete negotiation with customers
  • Analyze customer product roadmap, market, and competitiveness for long-term business planning
  • Analyze business status through SFDC and execute countermeasures for closing the gap
  • May perform other duties as assigned including special projects and other administrative

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • 7+ years of B2B sales experience
  • Fluent in Japanese, daily conversation level in English

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

  • Ability to travel – 60%-80%
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Bachelor’s degree in science/chemistry or general chemical engineering, mechanical engineering
  • Good knowledge of semiconductor, chemical and energy industry
  • Fluent in English communication skills

【ポジションの概要】

法人営業(Account Manager)として、ポールの最先端テクノロジーを用いたフィルター製品の提案営業を担当します。クライアントの新製品の開発段階からアプローチを開始し、引き合い後はテクニカルサポートと共に設計等の技術面の対応もしていきます。

【ご担当頂く業務】

  • 担当顧客の組織、技術ロードマップ、投資計画とそのスケジュール、意思決定プロセス等を理解し、顧客との戦略的パートナーシップを構築
  • 月次、四半期、年間の販売・受注目標を達成するための販売活動計画の作成と実行
  • クライアントとのよい関係性の構築やポールのテクノロジーの理解促進により、ビジネスを拡大させる
  • 価格戦略の策定、並び顧客との価格交渉
  • ポールのテクニカルサポート担当者とともに、化学品の製造プロセスにおける技術サポートを提供
  • クライアントの将来的な技術開発の情報を把握し、ポール製品の提供の機会を作る
  • ポール内の各部門と連携し、クライアントのニーズにタイムリーに対応する戦略をリード
  • SFDCを活用してビジネスチャンスや戦略をマネージャーにレポート

【求めるスキル・知識・ご経験】

  • B2B業界での有形商材の営業経験(7年以上)化学業界、エネルギー業界、不織布メーカー、製缶業界、油圧機器メーカー、半導体業界、フィルターが導入されている業界は確度高く検討可
  • 2~3泊程度の全国出張に対応できる方
  • 車の運転ができる方(出張時に最寄りの駅や空港から顧客先までの移動にレンタカーを使用する場合)

【語学力】

  • 日本語 : 流暢レベル以上
  • 英語 : 日常会話レベル (ビジネス英語を勉強中の方歓迎)

【あれば尚可/歓迎するスキル・知識・ご経験】

  • 大学・大学院で化学や機械工学などを専攻された方
  • 半導体、化学、エネルギー産業分野の知見
  • 流暢な英語でのコミュニケーションスキル
