The Process Engineer B is responsible for developing and implementing engineering projects based on his/her knowledge within the Industrial Engineering area of expertise. Collaborates with the organization’s quality system. Is involved in optimizing production systems and processes of company goals developed by management.
This position reports to the Process Engineering Supervisor and is part of the Engineering team located in Tijuana, Baja California, México and will be an on-site role.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Transfer the product and validate the development process (MVP, IQ, OQ, PQ).
- Perform DOE, software validation, and engineering studies.
- Develops, modifies and maintains standard operation procedures required to achieve company goals through the engineering function.
- Designs and implements production systems to meet production process needs, for which he/she requires knowledge of different continuous improvement techniques.
- Takes part in cross functional projects for continuous improvement, as well as introductions and implementations of new products and processes according to customer expectations.
The essential requirements of the job include
- Professional Industrial Engineering title.
- Minimum 3 – 7-year experience in the medical Process Engineering area.
- Affluent in English Language.
- Knowledge of ISO 13485.
- Knowledge of Minitab
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: if applicable for role
- Travel Requirements: Available to travel to the US.
- Current Visa
- Current Passport
- Work environment: Controlled Environmental Areas and Laboratories.
- Physical stress required: Visual and manual
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Certifications: ASQ, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing.
- Knowledge in CAD Software.
- Good verbal and written skills.
- Equipment design review.
- Basic Knowledge of tooling design.
