The Associate Project Manager, Molds & Technical Supplier Projects (m/f/d) is responsible for running, maintaining and expanding Radiometers global supplier base primarily within injection molding and extrusion. Moreover, you participate in projects aimed at new product development, capacity expansion, quality and cost improvement etc. Internal collaboration with Production sites and key stakeholders is also a significant part of the job.

This position reports to the Senior Manager, Molding & Technical Supplier Projects and is part of the Radiometer – Global Engineering team. The position is located in Stargard and will be an on-site role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Supporting smooth, cost effective and in compliance operation of Radiometer’s portfolio of outsourced molding equipment

  • Drive projects aimed at delivering new and better molds together with internal and external stakeholders

  • Drive or participate in projects aimed at improving Quality, Capacity or Cost where injection molded components play a key role

  • Participating in new product development projects

  • Ensure Radiometers portfolio of injection molds always follows rules and regulatory guidelines

  • Supports proper spending of both CAPEX and OPEX funds within molding operations

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • University degree B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Engineering. Alternatively mold-maker with experience in a related field or similar role.

  • Experience with development and maintenance of injection molding equipment (primarily plastic, but also extrusions and metal molding)

  • Solid understanding of design for manufacturing, of plastic and rubber parts for both low and high-volume production

  • Polymer knowledge

  • Solid experience with validation and part/equipment approval within a strongly regulated industry

  • Understanding of post molding value adding process: automatic assembly, gluing, laser welding, painting and other decoration processes

  • Experience with or knowledge of manufacturing for medical industry, DS/EN ISO 13485, FDA-regulated business and constantly being in compliance is a big advantage

  • English in english

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel app. 10-20% of the time

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Able to handle multiple time critical projects and keep a high spirit

  • Meeting and action management ensuring project traction in a complex organization

  • Constantly looking for opportunities to optimize and improve the processes we work

  • Comfortable navigating in a multi stakeholder environment

  • Proven track record of building win-win relationships with suppliers and other partners
