Description/Job Purpose
BlackRock has an opportunity for a qualified candidate to join the firm as a Vice President-level professional in the BlackRock Infrastructure Solutions business, based in New York City. As part of the Investor Relations & Solutions team, the candidate will support capital formation, product development, marketing, research, platform communications, and strategic projects for a global team, with a primary focus on the Americas region including Canada, the US, and South America.

BlackRock Infrastructure Solutions is a division within BlackRock’s infrastructure investment group. Since its establishment in 2011, BlackRock’s infrastructure investment group has become one of the leading platforms in the industry, managing assets on behalf of institutional and retail investors across the world. BlackRock’s infrastructure investment group encompasses various strategies, including direct private equity, private debt, public securities, and multi-manager investing, executed through commingled funds and separately managed accounts.
BlackRock Infrastructure Solutions is the firm’s infrastructure private equity multi-manager solutions group with offices in New York City, London, Zurich, Budapest, Hong Kong, and Singapore. BlackRock Infrastructure Solutions is a fast-growing, entrepreneurial business that builds and implements outcome-oriented infrastructure private equity portfolios for over 100 investors globally through investments into primary funds, secondaries, and direct co-investments. The team employs a diversified approach, investing across sectors – including transportation & logistics, energy midstream & downstream, power & utilities, telecommunications & digital, social, and environmental – as well as across geographies. With a track record of over 200 investments executed since 2008, BlackRock Infrastructure Solutions has one of the most experienced infrastructure multi-manager teams in the industry.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development: Contribute to AUM growth of business by supporting project management for fundraises, client related initiatives, and product development, including coordinating closely with deal teams, sales channels, legal, operations, and other teams.
Marketing: Play a key role in the ongoing development and maintenance of product marketing collateral and client content, including presentation materials, due diligence materials, RfPs, client communications, narrative creation, market trends, and competitor research.
Investor Solutions: Support fundraising efforts of global team with a focus on the Americas (Canada, US, South America) across client channels in close partnership with sales and relationship management teams for commingled funds and customized separately managed accounts. Support creation of customized separate account solutions including investment strategy, governance / engagement model, legal structuring and documentation, pricing negotiations, etc.
Client Engagement & Service: Prepare and present client investment pipeline and portfolio reviews including quantitative and qualitative portfolio analyses in partnership with portfolio managers and investor relations team. Develop varied analysis (industry / client related) and answer ongoing queries from clients and distribution colleagues in a timely manner.

Skills & Qualifications
5-8 years of experience in Product Strategy, Infrastructure Multi-Management, Investment Consulting, Fundraising, Investment Banking, or Portfolio Management
Expert in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Superior ability to synthesize complex information and convey it in a clear, concise, and engaging manner
Strong analytical skillset with high level of intellectual curiosity to drive differentiated insights
Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
Collaborative working style and strong interpersonal skills
Ability to manage workload effectively and deliver quality work on schedule in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
Self-starter with interest in undertaking leadership responsibilities over time
Ability to work with a cross-border team
Strong interest in infrastructure and client facing / servicing roles
Experience with product development, including drafting and review of business term sheets, fund legal documents is preferred
Experience working in private markets and ideally infrastructure or private equity is preferred
Undergraduate degree with demonstrated record of academic achievement and leadership; MBA and/or CFA is helpful
