Job Duties: Responsible for modeling and delivering third party fund risk analytics to support risk oversight as well as enhanced portfolio construction capabilities for our clients across the globe. Responsible for having a solid knowledge about the internal working of proprietary models like the risk model, liquidity model, etc. Leverage data analytics to improve the existing funds modeling framework and actively bring new innovative ideas to the team while understanding the needs of our clients as well as striving to explore and learn from the changes to the landscape of the wealth management industry. Work with Engineering and Product teams to implement models and insights in production applications of Aladdin to be used by wealth clients.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Statistics, Financial Engineering, Management Information Systems or a related field and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or as a Vice President, Associate, Research Analyst, Business Analyst or related. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Statistics, Financial Engineering, Management Information Systems or a related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or as a Vice President, Associate, Research Analyst, Business Analyst or related. Must have two (2) years of experience with: Machine Learning and Deep learning tools: NLP, BERT, Decision Trees, Neural Networks, Named Entity Recognition, PyTorch, TensorFlow and Keras; Cloud Services: Google Cloud Platform; Big data management including RDBMS (SQL), Hadoop, and Spark; Statistical programming including R and Python; Financial and technical project management; Financial Risk Modelling and Econometric and Statistical Models including Time Series AR, MA models and regression models.
