About this role
This role is a leadership role building out a dedicated research function within the Digital Assets organization at BlackRock, a business unit that leads our efforts across the firm’s activities in digital assets, including cryptoassets, stablecoins and tokenization. The team develops the firm’s strategy around digital assets, oversees its execution in concert with partner teams, and takes a leading role engaging with clients and other external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute on a broad-based research program for digital assets across the key thematic areas of the industry landscape, including cryptoassets, stablecoins, tokenization, and decentralized finance.
Monitor and analyze market trends and investment narratives in the digital assets space. Develop a regular flow of client-facing research content to be disseminated across the BlackRock client platform.
Produce high-quality, actionable research and insights, helping shape strategic decisions by BlackRock and investment strategies for clients.
Interact with clients seeking education and investment direction in the digital assets space, and represent BlackRock in public forums to provide expertise and thought leadership around digital assets.
Drive innovation within the digital assets research team by exploring new methodologies, tools, and technologies to enhance research capabilities.
Requirements
8-15 years of relevant work experience
2+ years of experience in a dedicated research capacity within the digital assets space
Outstanding writing and research skills
Ability to create high-quality, well curated content for a wide range of audiences
Strong team player capable of working with a diverse array of working styles and approaches
High level of intellectual curiosity
Organizational and time-management skills, strong initiative, and attention to detail
Outstanding career achievement, with demonstrated leadership and results

Our hybrid work model
