Role and Impact:
We are seeking a strategic, client-centric, and innovative marketing leader to drive the go-to-market strategy for BlackRock’s High Net Worth (HNW) offerings within USWA. This role will be responsible for developing and leading integrated marketing strategies that position BlackRock as a trusted partner to financial advisors serving HNW clients. The Director will lead cross-functional initiatives spanning narrative development, digital transformation, advisor engagement, and experiential marketing — all with a focus on delivering personalized, data-driven, and technology-enabled client experiences that reflect the sophistication of our HNW client base.
Responsibilities:
Define and execute the end-to-end marketing strategy for the HNW client segment and focused solutions including SMAs, SpiderRock Advisors, Alternatives and Whole Portfolio offerings.
Bridge the gap between asset classes and investment wrappers to craft compelling narratives that resonate with advisors serving affluent and HNW clients.
Champion digital and AI-driven transformation across HNW marketing, including using generative AI, optimizing campaigns, building web experiences, client journey mapping, and personalization strategies.
Bridge the gap between asset classes and investment wrappers to craft compelling narratives that resonate with advisors serving affluent and HNW clients.
Partner with Sales, Product, Analytics, and Technology to identify commercial opportunities, shape marketing priorities, and implement AI-enabled insights for better decision-making.
Collaborate closely with Corporate Communications, Events, and Strategic Accounts to amplify HNW messaging across paid, owned, and earned channels.
Manage and inspire a large, high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of leadership, innovation, accountability, and continuous learning.
Champion operational excellence and professional growth across the team through coaching, talent development, and collaboration.
Core Skills:
Deep understanding of the US Wealth landscape and the needs of HNW & affluent investors.
Proven experience integrating AI, data analytics, and marketing automation to deliver more intelligent, efficient, and impactful marketing outcomes.
Strong storytelling and content development skills, with the ability to simplify complex investment concepts.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence senior stakeholders.
Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in investment marketing, product strategy, or client engagement, preferably within wealth management or asset management.
Experience with digital marketing platforms, CRM tools, and marketing automation systems.
For Princeton, NJ Only the salary range for this position is USD$165,000.00 - USD$250,000.00 . Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including healthcare, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. BlackRock operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and your total compensation may vary based on role, location, and firm, department and individual performance.
