Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced leader to join the Preqin Data Strategy team. This role is centrally positioned across Preqin, Aladdin, and the broader firm, responsible for advancing private markets data initiatives aligned with Preqin’s commercial priorities and strategic objectives.

You will operate in a highly collaborative, cross-functional environment, interacting closely with senior stakeholders across the firm. Success in this role requires strong ownership, clear direction, and hands-on involvement from strategy through execution.

You will:

  • Drive the transformation, expansion, and integration of private markets data to support Preqin’s growth and strategic objectives

  • Serve as a central point of coordination for Preqin data initiatives across Preqin, Aladdin, and BlackRock

  • Translate business priorities into clear roadmaps and execution plans

  • Lead bidirectional engagement with partner teams to advance strategic use cases, maximizing the value of Preqin data while appropriately integrating partner data into Preqin

  • Champion scalable, robust data solutions that improve efficiency and unlock platform synergies while balancing speed and agility

  • Oversee teams across design, implementation, and execution to ensure initiatives are delivered effectively and sustainably

Qualifications

  • Proven experience leading complex, cross‑functional initiatives across large organizations.

  • 10+ years of experience in data, product, analytics, and / or platform roles within financial services

  • Deep understanding of how data drives investment, product, and client workflows within capital market participants

  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills


For New York, NY Only the salary range for this position is USD$220,000.00 - USD$275,000.00 . Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including healthcare, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. BlackRock operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and your total compensation may vary based on role, location, and firm, department and individual performance.
