The Aladdin Solutions Engineering (SE) team leverages deep product, markets, and workflow expertise to design and present best-in-class solutions for prospective clients. SE plays a pivotal role in articulating how Aladdin’s integrated capabilities address client operating model challenges across asset managers, insurers, pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, and alternative investors. In addition to leading presentations, workflow translation, and technical diligence, the team produces specialized content, research, and competitive insights that elevate business development engagements and increase the probability of commercial success.

We are seeking a Vice President within the Aladdin Solutions Engineering organization. This role blends technical expertise, financial acumen, and commercial partnership, with responsibility for leading small and medium-sized prospect engagements and supporting larger ones, while partnering closely with Business Development, Product, and Implementations teams. The ideal candidate will use their understanding of client workflows across asset managers and asset owners to showcase Aladdin functionality in solving real investment challenges for public and private markets. Presentation skills and the ability to explain investment management practices are a must.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead small and medium prospect engagements and support large prospect engagements from RFP through discovery, solution design, demonstrations, Proofs of Concept (PoCs), and preferred vendor selection

  • Understand prospect objectives and proactively map those objectives to Aladdin solutions, incorporating industry terminology, workflows, and pain points

  • Demonstrate awareness of market movements, regulatory changes, and geopolitical events that may impact prospects, products, or investment strategies

  • Deliver tailored, workflow-oriented demonstrations aligned to client type, industry segment, and unique requirements

  • Expertise in at least one client segment or product vertical

  • Gather prospect intelligence and identify common patterns in client feedback

  • Partner closely with Business Development, Product, and ACT teams to communicate prospect feedback and product requirements

  • Contribute to improvements in sales processes, engagement models, and team governance

Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of the Aladdin platform and front-to-back investment workflows or 5 years investment management, risk management, or alternative investments software experience

  • Ability to translate technical concepts into clear business value

  • Superior communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts simply and clearly to clients

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Comfort presenting to senior audiences with purpose and credibility

  • Strong interest in financial markets and investment technology
