The Company Intelligence (CI) team is central to this mission — transforming fragmented market signals into structured, decision-ready intelligence across companies, deals, and ownership networks.

We are hiring a Research Analyst to help evolve Company Intelligence into a true intelligence capability.

This role operates at the intersection of:

  • Research & analysis

  • Private markets domain expertise

  • AI-enabled workflows

You will work on complex company-level intelligence, including M&A activity, ownership structures, deal events and investment relationships.

Role & Responsibilities

1. Research & Intelligence Development

  • Conduct deep secondary market research

  • Build structured intelligence across:

  • Company profiles

  • Ownership relationships

  • Investments and deals

  • Valuations and corporate events

2. Complex Deal & Ownership Analysis

  • Interpret:

  • M&A transactions

  • Investment rounds

  • Ownership changes

  • Corporate restructuring

  • Apply judgement under ambiguity, including:

  • Conflicting information across sources

  • Partial or incomplete disclosures

3. Companies Expansion

  • Identify and onboard new private market companies

  • Establish:

  • Investor relationships

  • Fund linkages

  • Ownership networks

  • Ensure relevance within the broader private markets ecosystem

4. AI-Enabled Research & Productivity

  • Use:

  • Copilot and research agents

  • AI-assisted discovery tools

  • Internal knowledge platforms

  • Drive:

  • Faster research cycles

  • Better source comparison

  • Improved productivity

5. Data Quality, Audit & Collaboration

  • Resolve:

  • Data inconsistencies

  • Coverage gaps

  • Conflicting records

  • Maintain:

  • Data Quality, Data Validation and Final outputs.

  • Evidence-backed documentation

  • Collaborate with:

  • Global Data, Product, and Engineering teams

Required Qualifications

Education

  • Post Graduate or BTech with excellent academic record.

Experience

  • Minimum 18 months of relevant experience, such as:

  • Research

  • Financial/market data

  • Private markets / deals / ownership

  • Business intelligence

Core Capabilities

  • Strong primary-source research skills

  • Ability to interpret:

  • Structured + unstructured data and announcements

  • Ambiguous and conflicting information

  • Understanding of:

  • Private markets ecosystem

  • Deal lifecycle and ownership structures

Tools & Technical Skills

  • Excel, Office 365, SharePoint

  • SQL / Python (preferred)

  • Exposure to:

  • AI-assisted research tools

  • Prompt-driven workflows
