Alternative Asset Management Technology (AAMT) Ops Business Analyst Intern

Job Description:

The AAMT Ops Business Analyst Intern is responsible for assisting AAMT Ops Team in executing project work streams as agreed with stakeholders and team management. Additionally, specific responsibilities will include:

  • Gather and transform business needs from stakeholders (Real Estate, Private Equity, Finance etc.) into epic/user story and work with Engineering Team / AAMT Ops Team to drive solution delivery

  • Partner closely with global counterparts to facilitate regional implementation of global projects

  • Utilize available technology tools (e.g. Tableau, Snowflake, Anaplan etc.) within Blackstone to design and implement technology solutions for business stakeholders

  • Proactively engage with regional Real Estate and Private Equity teams on a regular basis to document pain points and identify areas of opportunity

Qualifications:

The successful candidate should possess the following qualities:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Data Analytics and/or any related discipline

  • Strong analytical, problem solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills, with the ability to multitask and deliver under tight deadlines; the candidate should be a self-starter that thrives on complexity and solution finding

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Word)

  • Intermediate programming skills and experience preferred (i.e. Python, SQL or VBA) and willingness to learn expected

  • Robust data analytics and visualization skills preferred (Tableau, Power BI, and/or Python)

  • The ability to work effectively as an individual contributor and possess strong analytical, problem solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills, multitask and deliver under tight deadlines

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a demonstrated ability to write effectively and summarize large amounts of information succinctly and quickly

Requirement:

To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Currently enrolled as a fulltime undergraduate or master’s degree student. If you are pursuing a master’s degree, you should have no more than 1 year of fulltime working experience·

  • Anticipated graduation date: December 2025 – June 2026
