Job Description and Responsibilities:

Blackstone Credit & Insurance (“BXCI”) is seeking a motivated Analyst or Associate level professional to join our office in New York. As a member of the Perpetual Fund Solutions (“PFS”) team, this professional will help drive the growth of our perpetual funds across BXCI. The PFS team focuses on BXCI’s perpetual credit offerings, including Blackstone Private Credit Fund (“BCRED”), a continuously offered non-traded BDC and Blackstone Secured Lending Fund (“BXSL”), a publicly traded BDC, and the Multi-Asset Credit fund. This professional will also support the growth of perpetual products which may be launched in the future. This individual will work with the BXCI team and the broader Blackstone organization, to support the development of content, marketing materials, product positioning, messaging strategy, strategic marketing plans, and communications to research analysts, advisors, and investors. The role provides an opportunity for a talented, ambitious individual to collaborate closely with key groups in the firm, including the investment team, office of the CIO, operations, finance, legal & compliance, and Blackstone’s Private Wealth Solutions business.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Supporting the creation and development of content including marketing materials, thought pieces, primers to assist in building product knowledge and support product launches both internally and externally for BXCI’s perpetual funds

  • Building an understanding of BXCI’s perpetual funds in the market, including serving as a product expert with the ability to draft written responses or speak directly to the portfolio, fund structure and market environment with prospects, existing investors, advisors and research analysts

  • Intelligence gathering through market research, analyst coverage and competitor analysis

  • Supporting the organization, coordination and preparation of shareholder communications throughout the earnings process

  • Updating monthly materials including marketing presentations, fact cards, case studies and talking points

  • Coordinating closely with internal groups (investment team, portfolio management, legal, finance, operations, tax, etc) on all aspects of marketing and core content materials

  • Generating new ideas around content opportunities specific to private credit, key themes and building new market insights based on market and economic environments

Qualifications:

Blackstone seeks to hire individuals who are highly motivated and intelligent and have demonstrated excellence in prior endeavors. The successful candidate should have:

  • 2+ years of professional work experience in alternative investments, investment banking or equity research, but not limited to these areas

  • Strong understanding of alternative investments, leveraged finance and private credit is preferable

  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint with the ability to write effectively and produce visually appealing presentations

  • Excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to write effectively

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and workstreams at any given time

  • Results driven individual with superior attention to detail

  • Ability to develop high-impact content that resonates with investors

  • Highly motivated (a self-starter) with a strong work ethic

  • Undergraduate degree

  • Strong analytical and qualitative skills

Expected annual base salary range:

$105,000 - $165,000

Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.

Additional compensation: Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits offered in connection with the advertised role.
