Business Unit Overview:

The firmwide marketing team at Blackstone oversees a wide range of projects and strategies focused on strengthening the Blackstone brand and supporting our business groups. The team is responsible for areas including Blackstone’s:

  • Corporate brand and visual identity
  • Content strategy and creation
  • Digital channels (website, social media) and paid promotion efforts
  • Video, photo and broadcast production
  • Events

Job Description:

Blackstone’s Experiential Summer Analyst program offers a unique experience among financial firms, enabling participants to develop a well-rounded skillset. A summer internship in Conference and Events Management and Internal Meeting Management entails supporting a team of professionals on a variety of tasks, including, but not limited to the following:

  • Shadow and help as needed the Blackstone Events team in a dynamic environment, across internal meetings, new plaza event center, external events, and branded merchandise processes
  • Track and process invoices and support team with expense management and tracking receipts
  • Work together with internal teams including dining services, office services, facilities, and IT to manage internal event programming and navigate our brand
  • Learn event systems and help manage room bookings and build event communications and invitations
  • Assist and provide onsite support with event registration
  • Work on event related research and various ad-hoc projects including presentations, venue & vendor lists, and internal Blackstone event guides
  • Provide visual merchandising support while assisting with branded merchandise and logistics
  • Track inventory and organization across the Blackstone Events storage
  • Correspond with vendors
  • Lead group transportation coordination
  • Assist professionals in all stages of preparing for events
  • Work outside of regular business hours to assist on-site with event schedules may be required as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Strong communication skills and ability to articulate thoughts clearly
  • Interest in pursuing a career in events management and/or hospitality
  • Knowledge and curiosity around New York venue & restaurant scene
  • Highly organized and detail oriented
  • Self-motivated and resourceful
  • Team player
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (including PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel)

Requirements:

To be considered for the 2025 Summer Analyst Program, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Currently enrolled as an undergraduate student
  • Anticipated graduation date: Fall 2025 – Spring 2026
  • Resume must include expected graduation month/year and GPA

The 2025 Corporate Affairs Summer Analyst Program is an experiential program. An experiential role is designed to provide valuable knowledge and does not have the opportunity for an offer of employment at the conclusion of the program. Expected annual base salary range:

$70,000 - $70,000

Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.

Additional compensation: Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits offered in connection with the advertised role.
