Tactical Opportunities

Tactical Opportunities (Tac Opps) is Blackstone's opportunistic investment platform.

The Tac Opps team invests globally across asset classes, industries and geographies, seeking to identify and execute on attractive, differentiated investment opportunities. As part of the strategy, the team leverages the intellectual capital across Blackstone’s various businesses while continuously optimizing its approach in the face of ever-changing market conditions.

Job Description:

  • Handle general professional administration of a highly confidential and sensitive nature
  • Calendar management for senior management team members, including scheduling appointments, confirming meetings, coordinating with other Assistants and confirming meetings with investors, clients, and offshore colleagues as requested
  • Regularly coordinate meetings and conference (audio & video) calls
  • Organize complex international travel itineraries and arrangements
  • Field telephone calls
  • Screen, and where necessary, act upon, all email communications (both internal & external)
  • Handling of confidential documentation and correspondence as requested
  • Monthly reconciliation of professionals’ expenses
  • Liaise with international offices, clients, and external consultants

Qualifications:

The successful Executive Assistant should possess the following qualities:

  • Experience in working with senior-level executives providing outstanding administrative support in a dynamic environment
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills
  • High level of professionalism
  • Experience in interacting with executives, professionals and/or clients
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize time sensitive work
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office
  • Ability to work well in a small team environment
