Global Finance Function
The Finance team at Blackstone comprises of Finance, Internal Audit, Treasury, and Tax functions.
International Finance manages the financial, regulatory and tax reporting requirements of all Blackstone Group entities based outside the US. International Finance has teams in Brazil, Hong Kong, Luxembourg, Mumbai, Singapore and Tokyo. Our vision is to be:

Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but not limited to:

End-to-end month end process (controllership)
Lead periodical closing and reporting procedures
Review tasks performed by Center of Excellence
Understand, manage and review specific revenue/investment process flows and associated accounting
Respond to ad-hoc inquiries from management or other business teams
Manage, train and develop COE staff with accounting and operational work

Financial and regulatory compliance
Perform financial statements in accordance with IFRS/local GAAP and local regulatory requirements (including maintaining regulatory ratios)
Liaising with external auditor

Tax compliance
Working with internal Tax teams to ensure entity level tax compliance (GST, Transfer Pricing, Fringe Benefit Tax, Corporate Income Tax)

Fund accounting and administration
Work directly with internal and external service provider teams to strike monthly NAVs and validate corporate level activity.
Control and process improvements
Participate in regional/domestic projects to enhance controls, processes, system efficiency
Collaborate on daily basis with multiple stakeholders across different workstreams (Accounts Payable, Treasury, Compensation Accounting and other Finance teams across regions)
Have a good understanding of technology and able to use it effectively to do the job and solve problems.
New business support: Able to build and maintain relationships and navigate diverse stakeholders.
Qualifications:

Required Skills:
Candidate must be a B.A., B.Com./ Graduate, Postgraduate or C.A., with knowledge of accounting and finance
8+ years of accounting/financial analysis experience
Experience in a Big 4 firm will be an advantage
Knowledge of asset management/fund management industry, including market fundamentals will be an advantage
Strong Microsoft Office skills (MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Word)
Knowledge in Oracle is a plus
Fluent in English and Mandarin (is a plus)
Strong attention to detail and ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
Ability to multi-task and manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
Self-motivated with a passion for making business processes more efficient and successful
Excellent communication, problem solving and interpersonal skills necessary
Drive and desire to learn new technologies and grow technical and functional skill sets
