The Role:

The Firm Insights team within Blackstone’s Global Marketing group is looking for an AVP to support our thought leadership programs and event content strategy. The individual will help bring Blackstone’s priority messages to life through content creation for our corporate website, email communications, social media channels, and events. This professional will also assist with content marketing for Blackstone business units on an as needed basis.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute on and evolve Blackstone’s content strategy based on firm priorities, data-driven insights and the evolving competitive landscape

  • Support editorial planning and production, pitching and executing content ideas that advance Blackstone’s marketing objectives and reflect the firm’s commercial priorities

  • Draft briefs to guide video shoots, working with internal subject matter experts to develop talking points and messaging

  • Draft and/or edit written content to publish across Blackstone’s owned channels (web, social, events)

  • Work closely with internal Production and Design partners to edit and polish static and video content into top-quality final product

  • Collaborate with Digital Strategy, Client Engagement and Events teams, as well as agency partners, on content activation/distribution across channels

  • Support content marketing efforts for priority business groups and their audiences, as needed

  • Advise on other content being produced at the firm (e.g., product marketing materials)

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in financial services

  • Deep understanding of financial services, particularly alternatives

  • Exceptional writing skills with strong editorial judgment

  • Commitment to excellence and exceptional attention to detail

  • Ability to distill complex ideas into engaging narratives

  • Experience developing content for events is a plus

  • Creativity around content formats, substance, and activation

  • Entrepreneurial mindset

Expected annual base salary range:

$97,000 - $175,000

Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.

Additional compensation: Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits offered in connection with the advertised role.
